Please check back for more information on the annual Minnesota Responsible Dog Ownership Day that will be in September 2023. Dog owners and enthusiasts of all ages are invited to learn the responsibilities of dog ownership and enhance their relationships with their pets during Minnesota Responsible Dog Ownership Day. Dogs and their owners can participate in conformation, obedience, rally, agility, meet the breed, weight pull, tricks demonstrations, meet the groomer, carting and tracking. Spectators with their well-behaved dogs on leash and proof of rabies vaccinations are welcome.
Check out all the great activities that occurred at the last RDOD:
LOW COST Microchip clinic ($25 per dog, including registration). A $5 donation will be made to the Three-Day Breast Cancer Walk for each chip sold.
FREE AKC Canine Good Citizen® CGC and CGCA testing and AKC Trick Evaluation. Limited number of spaces available.
Representatives from Paws for Friendship will be present to talk with interested therapy teams.
FREE AKC sanctioned B match (practice dog show). The event will culminate with a practice dog show that is open to all AKC recognized breeds, including Miscellaneous and Foundation Stock Services classes. “All American” dogs are welcome to participate in the obedience and rally match classes.
